We had a great long weekend at the house. I would not change anything. We used the beach gear/it was such a short walk onto the beach which was really quiet/very few people very relaxing, and accepting of dogs! The space was great, exactly as described, big enough for our group to have both privacy and togetherness. Loved it! 😊

Our family stayed in this beautiful rental while in town for a wedding. The house was perfect! We loved that each room had its own bathroom. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make meals. We enjoyed a nice hiking trail close by and it was conveniently located by our wedding venue. Matthew was quick to respond to all my questions and was kind and friendly, giving lots of recommendations on nearby activities. I would love to come and stay again and would highly recommend this rental!

We are a family of 13. Eight adults and 5 children. House is well kept and in excellent condition. Most important Matthew is extremely responsive and easy to work with. He responds immediately to texts and follows through. I would return without hesitation and strongly recommend the house.

This is a truly fantastic property. If anything, the pictures undersell how great it is for families and kids. Our children fell in love with the property with so many fun places for independent play. On top of this, the location is super ideal for fun day trips to the beach or the SB zoo, etc. A perfect home-base. Our entire family loved this property and would 100% rent it again.

Matthew was a great host and a pleasure to work with. He instantly gained my trust and made the whole check in/check out process super comfortable. The house was in great condition as well as in the perfect location. Walking distance to the beach and surrounded by friendly neighbors who respect privacy. We will be back!

Matthew’s spot is a perfect getaway to Yosemite. Located 20 minutes away from the South Entrance, it was easy to get to and come back home after an exhausting day. The hot tub helps alleviate the soreness from the hikes

We needed a place for our family to gather to celebrate my father's passing and this home was perfect! The setting was so peaceful and the main home was so spacious yet also cozy. We especially enjoyed the heated pool and beautiful garden setting. The guest house was so charming! It gave each family some privacy. Since some of the family lived in Northern California and the other group was from Southern California, Carpinteria was a very convenient place to meet up. I highly recommend this beautiful, peaceful and very clean and comfortable home for family gatherings.

There isn’t a single thing we needed that wasn’t present at this property! The views are AMAZING! The kitchen had every imaginable amenity and TWO sets of washers/dryers made it so easy for both families to do our laundry. Little things like yard games (horseshoes and frisbee golf), a packable cooler, gorgeous deck and even a telescope for star gazing made this my favorite property to date!

Great beach house! The house was awesome and the third floor game room was a major plus. Location was located right across the street from the beach access so getting to the beach so super quick and easy. Host communicated well and was very responsive, would highly recommend!
