The home’s striking glass-filled façade floods the interior with natural light and showcases breathtaking views across the valley below. We know you have the best and most well behaved dog but we also have had some of those very dogs be excessively dirty and cause damage. If you bring your dog, you MUST supervise it at all times and NOT ALLOW IT ON THE BEDDING OR FURNITURE/LEATHER COUCHES and NEVER LEAVE IT ALONE. We will file a claim if this opportunity is abused. We do wish to keep this opportunity available for responsible and respectful dog owners. Please be sure to include it in your reservation. We reserve the right to deny a dog. Please pick up after your dog please and thank you! Absolutely no smoking of any kind!!! Any type of fire is illegal in this county!!! Quiet hours begin at 9PM. Please move your conversations at that time inside as our neighbors may need to work in the morning and sound travels through the canyons. A clear identifiable image of yourself is required when a booking occurs as those who host need to know who they are inviting into their homes. Thank you and we look forward to providing you with a five star stay :) There are four Ring cameras, one on the exterior of the front of the house, one on the exterior of the back of the house, and two that view the property from the driveway. The cameras will be recording during reservations. It's important to carry chains seasonally above the 3000 foot level if there is snow. Maximum occupancy is 10 and no unauthorized guests are allowed. Do NOT open the window that slopes with the roof in the third bedroom upstairs. This will allow rain into the home. It is an emergency exit only. A short term rental permit and business license have been obtained and is on file with Madera County.

Yosemite National Park's South Entrance is 13 miles away — approximately 20 minutes by car — making this one of the closest vacation rentals to the park in the entire Oakhurst area. Bass Lake, a beautiful mountain lake with boat rentals and swimming, is 8 minutes away. The charming town of Oakhurst — with two full grocery stores, local restaurants, cafés, and shops — is just 5 minutes away. Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias is 30 minutes. Badger Pass Ski Area inside Yosemite is 35 minutes. Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino is 25 minutes. This is a four-season destination. In summer, days are warm and Bass Lake is the centerpiece. Fall brings oak and maple foliage and crisp mountain air. Winter means snow-dusted views from the A-Frame and skiing at Badger Pass inside Yosemite. A car is required — there is no public transportation in this area. Use Google Maps specifically to navigate to 42592 Buena Vista Ct, Oakhurst, CA 93644. This is a newer address on a recently built private road and Google Maps has it correctly; Apple Maps may not route accurately. Roads are fully paved to the property entrance, then gravel on the private road itself. The drive is easy in a standard vehicle in fair weather. In winter, carry tire chains if driving above 3,000 ft elevation — this is California law in the Sierra Nevada and conditions can change quickly. Parking is free and plentiful on-site, with room for multiple vehicles including boats and trailers. There is no garage for guest use.
