Our family of 11 had a wonderful stay at Matthew’s home. It’s a perfect location to stay at while visiting Santa Barbara and Ojai, or just going to the beach. You can spend the day out enjoying the sunshine, come back and relax in the hot tub, or energetic ones can do laps in the pool. The Carriage house is charming and a bonus. The weather was great and the sliding window in the kitchen it’s nice to the breeze come in.. The amenities in and for the kitchen were appreciated by all. The location is in a quiet setting and invites you to relax..

Matthew is a great host, and the place is gorgeous! would definitely stay at the place again if I came back to the area. Also, I was not expecting the outdoor patio/balcony to be so comfortable and for it to have such a pretty view!

We gathered to attend the funeral of my dear sister. It was such a perfect place to house all the family and to have a place to visit. Loved all the random places to hang out on different patios. The steam shower was a huge plus!

We had a great time here and the views are beautiful! The location is great and Matthew was very proactive and provided us some suggestions for local places to visit. Great spot!

Great house & great host! We stayed here for 2 nights while we visited Yosemite National Park. This location was awesome! The home was perfect. Everything was in brand new condition. The 2 washers and 2 dryers were an extra bonus! Highly recommend!

Beautiful home which was perfect for my husband and I’s families while we celebrated our mini wedding. Super responsive hosts, great location, very spacious home and cottage which was great for our group of 12. Would definitely recommend. Matt and Amy were the best!

Wonderful retreat in proximity to Yosemite National Park while still close to town with amenities such as groceries and restaurants. Gorgeous cabin with space for a group of family or friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with leisurely evenings on the porch overlooking the nearby hills after a day of trail hiking in Yosemite.

Our expectations were met, and we had set them higher than usual! We had 3 family units (10 people), and everyone’s needs were accommodated. We were willing to pay a little extra for more accommodations, and we were not disappointed. Also, communication with the host from start to finish was great, and checking in and out were a breeze. If we come to this area again, we will definitely look to see if this property is available.

We had a fantastic stay! The property is even more impressive in person: spacious, impeccably designed, and incredibly comfortable for a large group. Every detail felt thoughtful, from the well-appointed kitchen to the plush bedding and serene outdoor spaces. The setting is private and peaceful, yet just minutes from town and the beach. Perfect for gathering with friends or family. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend!
